Divergent to Begin Production in April for a 60-Day Shoot in Chicago

Mark your calendars Initiates! According to reports from Reel Chicago, Divergent will film in the Windy City starting in April for a 60 day shoot. Reel Chicago went on to say this in regards to the casting of local actors:

Claire Simon Casting is casting local actors.  Simon also casts “Chicago Fire,” which also is headquartered and shooting at Cinespace.

Sources say that at least 20 department heads from L.A. will be part of the production staff moving into Cinespace, including set decoration, props and set construction.  Chicago-based James McAllister is location manager.

I could be wrong but 60 days sounds relatively short for production, but that’s just me. Not much longer now!
