Veronica Roth posted more answers to her readers questions on tumblr. Here they are:

ice-ridden asked: In what ways to do you differ from Tris?

VR answered: Well, there are definitely similarities between us, and perhaps more than I realized at the time that I was writing her, but in most ways we’re different. I’m fairly outgoing and talkative, I crack a lot of jokes, I would say I have a greater capacity for empathy and forgiveness. She’s WAY tougher, more determined, logical, independent, single-minded, reckless. (I am not reckless at all, actually. Not even a little.) There’s a lot I admire about her, and there’s a lot I don’t admire.

infinitelystellar asked: What happens to Uriah? I sensed there was something between him and Tris..

VR answered: Can’t say. But I have said there’s no love triangle in book 2, so take from that what you will.

theinfinitehourglass asked: Hiya, so I thought I’d ask you a silly question just for fun 😀 I don’t know whether you’ve answered this before, but since you are a Harry Potter fan (really, who isn’t?), what house do you think you’d be put in? And why? Also, thank you for writing such amazing books. 🙂

VR asnwered:Thank you for reading!

Annnnd I would have to be Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. As for why, well…I’m a fairly bold person when the situation calls for it (sort of like Neville, who seems to be a fairly nervous individual until times are dire, and then suddenly he steps up). But I’m also patient and not resistant to hard work. So, who knows?

VR answered: Yes.

passionorangelilikoi asked: veronica your hair is now jaw length, is it a coincidence that tris’ hair cuts her hair jaw length too? 😀 😀 😀

VR answered: No, it’s not, actually— I have a habit of chopping off my hair after difficult life events, and I’ve talked to a lot of people about it over the years and as it turns out, I am not alone! Lots of people go for drastic haircuts after dramatic life change. It seemed only natural for Tris to do it too, after all that’s happened to her.
